My Story

HEAT OR EAT FOR JUSTICE IS A FUNDRAISING APPEAL SUPPORTING ACCESS TO JUSTICE FOR THE MOST VULNERABLE IN OUR COMMUNITY

Please consider donating and raise vital funds for free legal advice services. You can donate as much or as little as you can - as a one-off donation or perhaps from your Christmas fundraisingwhether it be a bake, a raffle, a sweepstake, or any other activity!

Many Families at increasing risk having to make impossible choices between buying enough food and heating their homes. By the end of June, Citizen’s Advice had already seen more people coming for help with energy issues than in the whole of 2020 and 2019.

The choice to heat the home or feed themselves and their family is stark for some people.

The cost of living crisis is widening the poverty and justice gap further at a time when Law Centres and CAB’s are “fighting to keep the doors open every day”.

By supporting this campaign, you will be helping to keep the lights on and doors open for free legal advice agencies that give a lifeline to people by helping to reduce debt, poverty and homelessness this Christmas and beyond.
