My Story

Thank you for supporting me in fundraising for the 20th anniversary of the London Legal Walk. I will be walking 10km on Tuesday 18th June to support the most vulnerable in society to access life changing free legal advice. 

I am walking with the Lady Chief Justice and thousands of lawyers, students, the public and many more supporters to raise funds for the London Legal Support Trust (LLST). Over the last 20 years, by walking together for justice, we have raised an incredible £10.5 million, helping hundreds of thousands of people access justice when they need it most.

The funding gap for legal advice has nearly doubled to over £30 million in the UK and free legal advice providers are at breaking point with the growing need from their clients. Many people cannot afford legal help and without more being done, they will go without justice when they need it most.

I have had free legal support to help me through difficult cases and situations, there is a need for it. Especially for those who are unable to access the legal system without charity to help support them with the funds and support of the UK Legal system. 

Many know that I have vowed when I am working as a qualified solicitor (I am a student at the moment) that I will be devoting my time to pro bono cases as well. To help those in need in the same way I was helped when I needed it.
