My Story

Thank you for sponsoring our Walk-The-Thames 2024. We are walking a full/half marathon along the river Thames to raise vital funds for the provision of specialist free legal advice for the people of London & The South East to access the justice they deserve.

The funds raised on this page will go to the London Legal Support Trust and support advice centres including Law Centres and Citizens Advice to help people combat injustice.

Over 13.4 million people live in poverty in the UK and advice providers are at breaking point with the growing need from their clients. Many people cannot currently afford legal help and we believe everybody should be able to receive legal advice when they need it most.

By supporting Walk-The-Thames, you will be raising vital funds to ensure access to justice for some of our community's marginalised people. Receiving good legal advice at the right time can make a huge difference to people's lives reducing their chances of facing debt, poverty, homelessness, exploitation and discrimination.
