My Story

On the evening of Tuesday 18th June, a Ropes & Gray team will be stepping up in support of the London Legal Support Trust, to raise essential funds to help the most vulnerable members of society access life changing free legal advice. As practitioners we acknowledge the importance of making legal advice available to all regardless of background, and we are proud to support the London Legal Walk in its 20th anniversary year.

Over the last 20 years, by walking together for justice, the LLST has raised an incredible £10.5 million, helping hundreds of thousands of people access justice when they need it most. The funding gap for legal advice has nearly doubled to over £30 million in the UK and free legal advice providers are at breaking point with the growing need from their clients. Many people cannot afford legal help and without more being done, they will go without justice when they need it most.
