My Story

Thank you for supporting our team in fundraising for the 20th anniversary of the London Legal Walk. We will be walking 10km on Tuesday 18th June to support the most vulnerable in society to access life changing free legal advice.

Our team is: Frank, Barry, Shirl, Cassim, Adrian, Harry, Grace, Renee, Alero, Brianna Hendry, Piret, Shilpa Caute, Emmy Todd, Thalatha Wickramasinghe, Mariam Abul-Essad

We are walking with the Lady Chief Justice and thousands of lawyers to raise funds for North Kensington Law Centre. 

We are proud to be known as the first ever Law Centre to open its doors in England. Our story began in 1970, when we saw the need to campaign and gain justice for some of the most poor and disadvantaged in the North Kensington communities. 

Since 1970, whilst the needs of the communities may have changed, the challenges are still there. And we continue to work with those who need access to legal services and cannot afford a private law firm.

We have continued to adapt to the needs of our community for almost five decades, we have been challenged ourselves but we have always remained true to our roots and continue to be a legal service with a social conscience.
