Join the largest fundraising event in the legal calendar and change lives with every step!
On 9th June 2026 we will be taking part in the London Legal Walk, a 10km route through Central London to raise vital funds for our work with refugees and asylum seekers.
As the cost of living rises, the need for free legal help with debt, benefits, housing, asylum and domestic violence is now greater than ever. Many people across the UK cannot afford legal help and are at risk of going without justice when they need it most.
The London Legal Support Trust has pledged to pass on 100% of the funds we raise to us, meaning every pound you donate will go directly to New Citizens’ Gateway.

We believe in access to justice. We envision a compassionate asylum process that treats individuals with the dignity and respect they deserve.
New Citizens' Gateway
New Citizens’ Gateway supports refugees and asylum seekers across London and beyond. Our mission is to empower individuals to rebuild their lives and integrate into British society with dignity, confidence, and a sense of belonging.
We take a holistic approach to support, offering a range of services including advice and information, wellbeing support, and more, reaching some of the most vulnerable in our communities.
Since 2005, we have helped thousands of refugees and asylum seekers rebuild their lives in the UK. Each year, we support over 4,500 people through the dedication of our staff and volunteers, the strength of our community, and the generosity of our supporters.
Since the London Legal Walk began 20 years ago, it has raised £12.5 million providing free legal advice to over 12,000 people. We are grateful that New Citizen's' Gateway is one of their chosen charities.
Every step we take and every pound we raise brings us closer to a future where justice and support are accessible to all.
