Medaille Trust London Moving On Project
My Story
Thank you for supporting our team in fundraising for the Medaille Trust's London Moving On Project. We will be completing the 2026 10km on Tuesday 9th June to raise money for survivors of trafficking and modern slavery. This is our 2nd year completing the walk and we want to make it even bigger and better than last year - but we need your help and support! We will be completing a different route this year and we would love to see you there to cheer us on! Please donate if you can - however small - it makes all the difference to the lives of survivors who have been affected by modern slavery and trafficking.
£15 will provide all new clients with an Oyster card and a £10 top-up to enable them to travel to meet with their Modern Slavery Caseworker.
£20 will provide a wellbeing gift box for new clients, containing essential items that they do not have access to: These could be toiletries, sanitary items, toothbrush, toothpaste, shower gel, towel and some treats for well being.
£30 will provide funding for day trips, cultural events and and a pamper day for all our service users.
Our team is: Sharon Scott, Ben Ryan, Rafaella Hutchinson, Sara, Jasvindar, Jenni Hurn, Dimple Ananda.
The Trust have pledged to donate 100% of the funds we raise, so every pound you donate in support will mean a pound going to our charity.
Medaille Trust’s mission is to provide refuge and freedom from modern slavery. We are one of the leading providers of support for survivors of modern slavery in the UK.
The London Moving On Project is one of Medaille Trust's community outreach services that supports survivors to be empowered and enabled to greater self-confidence and independence.
We do this through one-to-one casework support, working in partnership with the survivor to achieve their goals.
Support is client-led and can cover a range of issues, working towards achieving housing stability, immigration support, trauma-informed emotional support, access justice, healthcare, access to mental health services, employment or training.
Every step we take and every penny we raise brings us closer to a community where justice and support are accessible to all.
Please sponsor our walkers as generously as you are able.
We thank you for your continued support.
Sharon.
