Southampton Legal Walk 2026

My Story
Thank you for supporting our team for the Southampton Legal Walk 2026.
Our team is: Lester Aldridge
We are taking on a sponsored 10km walk on Wednesday 16th September to raise funds for advice charities in Southampton.
In 2025, 7.1 million low-income households (60%) were going without essential goods, including 4.1 million experiencing food insecurity in the previous 30 days. Further, 4.4 million low- income households (37%) were behind on at least one bill or credit commitment in May 2025
With the continuous rise in the cost of living, your support has become ever more vital. The money raised by our Walk is essential to supporting our local advice charities so that they can continue providing their life-changing free legal advice services to people like Charlie.
Charlie's Story
Charlie approached her local Citizens Advice in crisis, with no money for food and no credit on her electricity meter. Struggling with poor mental health following a relationship breakup, she sought help to regain stability.
The dedicated team of advisers supported Charlie in accessing emergency food and a fuel voucher to restore her electricity. They also worked with her to maximise her income through benefits and tax credits and reduce expenses by securing better phone and broadband deals.
This assistance provided Charlie with immediate relief and tools for long-term financial stability.
Every step we take and every penny we raise brings us closer to a community where justice and support are accessible to all.
Please sponsor our walkers as generously as you are able.
Many thanks for your support.
