My Story
Thank you for supporting our team in fundraising for the 2026 London Legal Walk. We will be taking on 10km on Tuesday 9 June to help those in need gain access to life-changing free legal advice.
Our team is: Amy Clarke, Sarah Yates, Rebecca Howell, Sarah Mweene, Rebecca Wilkinson, Lisa, Hayley Nock, Shivani, Anna, Gemma Watts, Ellen West
By taking part in this walk our team is raising funds for the London Legal Support Trust, who are organising the event. The Trust have pledged to donate 100% of the funds we raise for them, so every pound you donate in support will mean a pound going to LawWorks.
LawWorks is a charity working in England and Wales to connect volunteer lawyers with people in need of legal advice, who are not eligible for legal aid and cannot afford to pay and with the not-for-profit organisations that support them.
We believe in the power of pro bono legal advice to help improve the lives of people in need. We work to achieve this in two ways:
- enabling access to justice to individuals in need of advice, who are not eligible for legal aid and are without the means to pay for a lawyer; and
- brokering legal advice to small not-for-profit organisations, to support the continuation and expansion of their services to people in need.
Every step we take and every penny we raise brings us closer to a community where justice and support are accessible to all.
