My Story

Thank you for supporting our team in fundraising for the 2026 London Legal Walk. We will be taking on 10km on Tuesday 9 June to help those in need gain access to life-changing free legal advice.

Our team is: Rose Donnelly, Elizabeth Rimmer, Anna Buttimore, Andy Darnton, Henry NC, Kayleigh, Amanda Simpson, Andy Holmes, Victoria Ten, Karen Davies, Jane Bradley-Smith, Lucinda Soon, Sunita Harley, Jacqueline Roch, Henry Bradley Smith, Lucie Gosling-Myers, Steven McCann, Andrew Caplen, Rishi Kapoor

We will be walking with the Lady Chief Justice and thousands of lawyers to raise funds for the London Legal Support Trust (LLST) and LawCare. Last year, the 21st London Legal Walk raised over £1,000,000, which enabled thousands of people to access justice.

Many people across the UK cannot afford legal help and are at risk of going without justice when they need it most. One fifth (21%) of the UK population live in poverty - equivalent to around 14 million people.

The funds raised will be split between the London Legal Support Trust and LawCare.

LawCare offers free, confidential emotional support, peer support, and information for people working in legal sector in the UK, the Channel Islands, and the Isle of Man.

We advocate for improvements in mental health practices within legal workplaces and actively lead cultural transformation through education, training, and research.

We collaborate with legal educators, regulators, professional bodies, special interest groups, and legal practices to address the growing body of research that shows how accepted working practices and culture in law undermine mental health.

Our Impact Report for 2025 showed that demand for support is higher than ever. In 2025, we supported 753 people, more than in any previous year. 14- people were supported through our live online chat, a 13% increase in one year. Despite increased awareness of mental health and wellbeing and more workplace wellbeing initiatives, people in the legal sector continue to struggle with stress, anxiety, burnout and ongoing work pressures.

Every step we take and every penny we raise brings us closer to a community where justice and support are accessible to all.

Please sponsor our walkers as generously as you are able.

Many thanks for your support.
