My Story
Thank you for supporting our team in fundraising for the 2026 London Legal Walk. We will be walking on Tuesday 9th June to give life-changing legal advice to survivors of exploitation and domestic servitude.
Our team is: Emelie Rodiguez, Pauline Uwins, Kevin Uwins, Cristy Seloterio, Sophie Levack, Avril Sharp, Dipa Haria, Arundhati Chaudhuri, Hannah Billington
By taking part in this walk our team is raising funds for the London Legal Support Trust, who are organising the event. The Trust have pledged to donate 100% of the funds we raise for them, so every pound you donate in support will mean a pound going to Kalayaan.
Kalayaan is a charity for migrant domestic workers providing legal advice, practical support, political advocacy and a base for community campaigns. In solidarity with exploited migrant domestic workers we transform lives by giving access to justice and by working to change the structures that allow exploitation. Kalayaan has longstanding expertise in advising on and campaigning for the rights of migrant domestic workers.
Every step we take and every penny we raise brings us closer to a community where justice and support offers excape from exploitation and safety from abuse.
