My Story

Thank you for supporting our team in fundraising for the 2026 London Legal Walk.  On June 9, we will be walking 10km to help those in need gain access to life-changing free legal advice and crisis support.

IRMO is a Brixton-based charity that has supported Latin American migrants and refugees for over 40 years. Every year, we support over 4.000 people directly as we fight for a future where everyone can access their rights, live free from poverty and discrimination, and pursue their aspirations without barriers.

From front-line services to advocacy, it aims to enable the development, agency and participation of all migrants and refugees, as they build their lives in the UK.

Your donation will fund expert legal advice and emergency support for families with nowhere else to turn. 

The impact of your contribution:

£10 contributes to urgent clothing, transport or food

£25 gives an hour of expert legal advice, supporting people in critical situations

£50 pays for emergency accommodation, preventing individuals and families from sleeping rough

Every step we take and every penny we raise brings us closer to a community where justice and support are accessible to all. Your donation helps us be there for individuals and families with nowhere else to turn. 

We also encourage you to add Gift Aid, which allows us to claim an extra 25p for every pound you donate, at no extra cost to you!
