My Story

Thank you for supporting Team IPSEA in fundraising for the 2026 London Legal Walk. We will be taking on 10km around London on Tuesday 9 June. Your donation will directly help IPSEA to empower more families of children with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND) access the educational support they are entitled to. 

Our team is Victoria, Holly, Lisa, Clare, Sinthu, Cheryl, Chamika, Tamsin, Sofia, Luxshanaa, Lesa, Nicola, Saki and MTS Global (Aisha, Hermi, Kornelia, Torres and Ana) (with more to follow!)

All children and young people with SEND have a legal right to an education that meets their individual needs. But many tens of thousands of children and young people with SEND are not getting the support they are legally entitled to. 

At IPSEA, we are here to change that. 

We are the leading charity in the field of SEND law in England, and we provide free and independent legal advice and support to families of children and young people with SEND. We also provide training on the SEND legal framework, and we influence policy at both a local and national level.

Right now, our work is more crucial than ever. Demand for our advice and support continues to grow, and our policy efforts to protect and uphold the legal rights of children and young people remain vital with the recent publication of the Government's Schools White Paper. Every walker and each donation plays a crucial role in ensuring that children and young people with SEND receive the education they are legally entitled to.
