My Story

Thank you for supporting our team in fundraising for the 20th anniversary of the London Legal Walk. We will be walking 10km on Tuesday 18th June to support the most vulnerable in society to access life changing free legal advice.

Our team so far is: Alison Pexton, Deborah Cohen, Tamsin Howard, Julia Day, Jo Yuill, Kamlesh Pabari, Maria Bloom, Emma Brock, Nicola Stevenson, Christine German, Georgina Downard, Ruth Woodings

Our team is supporting IPSEA and all funds raised through this page will be sent to IPSEA - the leading charity in the field of special educational needs and disability (SEND) law in England. We provide free and independent legal advice and support to families of children and young people with SEND, training on the SEND legal framework, and we influence SEND policy at both a local and national level.

This year we’re aiming to raise £5,000 to support our work helping and empowering families across England. 

All children and young people with SEND have a legal right to an education that meets their individual needs. But many tens of thousands of children and young people are not getting the support they are legally entitled to. 

At IPSEA, we are here to change that. 

Providing the right educational support for children and young people with SEND is life-changing. That is why our work at IPSEA – advising and empowering families, providing free casework support and ensuring that the rights of children and young people with SEND are upheld – is absolutely critical.
