My Story

Thank you for supporting our team in fundraising for the 20th anniversary of the London Legal Walk. We will be walking 10km on Tuesday 18th June to support the most vulnerable in society to access life changing free legal advice.

Our team is: Charity, Megan, Haneet, Donya, Laura

We are walking with the Lady Chief Justice and thousands of lawyers to raise funds for Hackney Migrant Centre. Hackney Migrant Centre (HMC) delivers a free, weekly advice and support service for vulnerable migrants on immigration, housing, welfare and access to health. We support visitors to our service to resolve their immigration problems and move out of homelessness and destitution in the long-term, as well as assisting them to address immediate issues. Most of our visitors lack secure immigration status and are destitute as a result of that and the Hostile Environment.

With the ongoing cost of living crisis, your support is needed more than ever. Please sponsor our walkers as generously as you are able.
