My Story

Thank you for supporting our team in fundraising for the 2026 London Legal Walk. We will be taking on 10km on Tuesday 9 June to help those in need gain access to life-changing free legal advice.

Our team is: Benjamin Barnard, Lottie Stacey, Jordan Hall, Sanjana, Cathy Ashley, Emma Smale, John Loveday, Brian Pentecost, Ann Chavasse.

By taking part in this walk our team is raising funds for the London Legal Support Trust, who are organising the event. The Trust have pledged to donate 100% of the funds we raise for them, so every pound you donate in support will mean a pound going to Family Rights Group.

Family Rights Group’s vision: A society in which children can thrive in their families, and have loving relationships to turn to throughout life.

We are the leading specialist child welfare charity working to make that a reality. We are unique in bringing together legal and social work expertise, advice giving, and policy and campaigning, with the direct voice and insights of young people and families.

£26 will pay for specialist advice via our webchat service for an older brother who has stepped in to raise his sister.

£50 will enable us to advise a young pregnant woman who is the victim of domestic abuse and is concerned what action the local authority might take

£75 will provide follow-up advocacy support to a grandmother whose grandchildren are in care.

£150 will mean we can support kinship carers to share their experiences with policy-makers and press for urgent changes to the law.

Please sponsor our walkers as generously as you are able.

Many thanks for your support.
