My Story

Thank you for supporting our team in fundraising for the 20th anniversary of the London Legal Walk. We will be walking 10km on Tuesday 18th June to support some of the most vulnerable members of society access life changing free legal advice.

Our team is: The Attorney General and The Solicitor General with: Mohini Jannath, Elena East, John Smith, Maham Malik, Matt Gaskin, Alex Dean, Craig Jackson, Lissa Matthews, Vanessa Watling, Daryl Old, Iqra Ahmad, William Taylor, Seb Randell, Nicky Smith, Nigel Best, John Allen, Will Neill, Lisa Ettridge and Bella Southworth Simons.

We are walking to raise funds for the London Legal Support Trust (LLST). Over the last 20 years, by walking together for justice, the LLST have raised an incredible £10.5 million, helping hundreds of thousands of people access justice when they need it most. 

The funding gap for legal advice has nearly doubled to over £30 million in the UK and free legal advice providers are at breaking point with the growing need from their clients. Many people cannot afford legal help and without more being done, they will go without justice when they need it most.
