My Story

Thank you for supporting our team in fundraising at the 2026 London Legal Walk on Tuesday 9 June 2026. 

This year Age UK Waltham Forest is proudly taking part once again, joining the 10k circular Thames walk for the third year running to support older people in our community.

Every step we take helps us continue our work enabling local older residents to live independent, dignified and fulfilling lives — tackling loneliness, providing practical support and making sure no one has to struggle alone.

The demand for our services has never been greater, and your donation, big or small, will make a real difference right here in Waltham Forest. If you can, please sponsor our team or even join us on the walk and fundraise alongside us — together we can go the distance for older people who need us most.

Our team is: Helen Bigham, Carol Moy, Sarah Allan, Linelle, David, Arlene, Cassie, Collette, Rupert Williams, Natalie Turner 

By taking part in this walk our team is raising funds for the London Legal Support Trust, who are organising the event. The Trust have pledged to donate 100% of the funds we raise for them, so every pound you donate in support will mean a pound going to Age UK Waltham Forest.
