My Story

Thank you for supporting our team in fundraising for the 20th anniversary of the London Legal Walk. We will be walking 10km on Tuesday 18th June to support the most vulnerable in society to access life changing free legal advice.

Our team is: Hilary Foster, Jason Roukin, Jenny Lanigan, Gavin Holme

We are walking with the Lady Chief Justice and thousands of lawyers to raise funds for the London Legal Support Trust (LLST) and Bail for Immigration Detainees. Over the last 20 years, by walking together for justice, we have raised an incredible £10.5 million, helping hundreds of thousands of people access justice when they need it most. 

The London Legal Support Trust is an independent charity that raises funds for free legal advice services in London and the South East. They support free legal advice centres across London and the South East through the provision of grant funding, supporting sector infrastructure, helping agencies reduce costs and save money via pro bono or discounted schemes.

Bail for Immigration Detainees is an independent charity that exists to end immigration detention in the UK. They dream of a world free of immigration detention, where people are not deprived of their liberty or deported from their home. They aim to end immigration detention in the UK through the provision of legal advice, information and representation alongside research, policy advocacy and strategic litigation.
